Our self-catering holiday homes for the Port Edward area are in Leisure Bay, Glenmore and Munster, the beach villages just north of Port Edward town on the KZN South Coast. They sleep from two to 14 people, and some open straight onto the beach. Each house shows its nightly rate. We’re a family-run agency with an office on Glenmore Parade, and enquiries are answered by the Glenmore office.

Which beaches near Port Edward are best for children?
Kidds Beach in Leisure Bay has a shallow bathing area, and T.O. Strand is a large flat beach. On windy days, Peter Pan Bay and Drakes Bay are more sheltered. More about Leisure Bay’s beaches.
What can we do around Port Edward?
Walk the trails in Umtamvuna Nature Reserve, from the 30-minute Kingfisher Trail to the four-hour Fish Eagle circuit. See the red sand hills of the Red Desert Nature Reserve, about 10 km west of town. Spend a day at the Wild Coast Sun’s water park, golf course or spa. Anglers know Splash Rock, just south of Port Edward Main Beach, for shad, kob and garrick. More in things to do around Port Edward.
Is there budget accommodation near Port Edward?
Yes, especially outside peak season (10 December – 10 January and 26 – 29 March 2027). For two people, The View in Leisure Bay is a good fit. For families, Snuggle Pot (sleeps 7), Itongazi Unit 14 (two adults and two children), Cottage Pie and Seesig Cottage are among our lower-priced houses; each house page shows its nightly rate. Many houses give pensioners 10% off outside peak season.
Where do we buy groceries?
Port Edward Mall on Owen Ellis Drive has a Spar, a pharmacy, a Capitec branch, a Tops bottle store, PEP and Tiagos take-away. Closer to the houses, The Local Basket on Glenmore Parade sells groceries and fresh fruit and veg, and fries fish and chips.

I had a amazing holiday on the lower south coast so quite and peaceful beaches are clean and safe and leisure bay is a lovely little village close to the Wild Coast sun great golf course and entertainment for the whole family the Seabreeze team were so professional and went out of there way to make sure we enjoy our stay
